Hello, September: What I’m Loving, Planning & Looking Forward To This Month

I know you've heard it before...but I can't believe we are into the first week of September already! This year seems to be flying by, and we are coming up to (in my humble opinion) the greatest time of the year! Fall and early winter. Perhaps it's because I have a Disney World trip coming up soon that I am looking forward too, or that my birthday is in late October! It could also be that I just love the holiday season, starting with Halloween, and going right up until New Year's and everything in between!

With all of that excitement, I am looking forward to the cooler temperatures that are coming most of all! If you know one thing about me, it is that I am super sensitive to the heat, which is funny because I love going to Orlando... go figure? I am looking forward to spending time in my happy place, but I am also looking forward to so many things right here in Central New York too! For one, Buffalo Bills regular season football starts next weekend!!! GO BILLS! Apple picking is one of my favorite fall activities, and CNY has no shortage of amazing apple orchards, my favorite is Beak and Skiff, but Navarino's is also really great! I also love getting to drive around and see the leaves changing colors. I can't wait to photograph the colors of Syracuse! We also have some amazing pumpkin patches and other fall themed activities that I look forward to each year around my town! I am pumped to really start working on some more artistic photography and I think fall and winter are the perfect time to test out new techniques!

With the colder weather coming, I love being able to bring out my sweaters and cooler weather attire! I feel most at home in an oversized sweatshirt and a pair of leggings. I also love being able to bring out some of my darker bags, as much as I LOVE pink everything, I also love a good maple or black handbag and fall is the perfect time to pull those out and rock them!

However, I am enjoying the last few days of summer here in CNY and for the next few weeks I will be looking forward to going to Disney World! I can't wait to share some behind the scenes of my packing process, how I plan my outfits and other little tidbits that can help you with your Disney planning!
